CLEVELAND — Mitchell's Ice Cream is celebrating its 20th birthday in the best way—a single scoop of ice cream for $1.65, which was the original price of a single scoop in 1999.
Brothers and founders Pete and Mike Mitchell, born and raised in University Heights, started the business in Westlake in 1999.
On Sunday, the Mitchell brothers will be on hand to to open the Ohio City shop. Commemorative birthday stickers will be given to customers at every shop while supplies last.
Seasonal flavors include Pumpkin Spice and Autumn Caramel Apple.
Mitchell's now has ten shops in the Greater Cleveland area, with all ice creams handmade in full view at the Ohio City Kitchen + Shop.
