CLEVELAND — Northeast Ohio's iconic Swensons Drive-In restaurants, best known for its Galley Boy Burger— a double cheeseburger with two special sauces (two!) — and nostalgic drive-in style, will be celebrating 85 years in business.

To celebrate, beginning Monday through Aug. 11, Swensons will give $10in gift coins to the driver of every 85th car at any of Swensons' 12 hamburger stands.

Swensons has a long-standing history in Ohio, with the first location opening in 1934.

Since then, curbside runners have delivered classic milkshakes and burgers to hungry customers in the comfort of their cars.

Swensons was named "America's Best Burger" by Forbes in 1999, and native son LeBron James has continued to promote the Akron chain as his favorite burger joint. He has taken Hollywood stars like Amy Schumer and Bill Hader to the restaurant and reportedly stopped at the chain for a burger after the Cavs championship parade in 2016.
