CLEVELAND — Known for its steakburgers, The Burger Shop is opening at the Ohio City Galley, becoming the food hall’s fourth kitchen in the space.

The kitchen will serve steak sliders and waffles fries at the galley for a few months.

Chef Victor Searcy creates his own burgers using high-end cuts of beef. The cheeses are provided by local producers and vendors in the West 25th Street area.

"There are numerous burger joints in Cleveland. Some may say the burger concept is over saturated,” said Searcy. “What stands us apart is the complete simplicity and blend of our steakburgers.”

Those visiting The Burger Shop can choose from three slider options:

  • The Classic: lettuce, tomato, onions with American cheese
  • The Smokehouse BBQ: smoked brown BBQ sauce, crispy onion rings and cheddar cheese
  • Spiced Portobello: Gouda and pepper jack cheese, sauteed onions and mushroom topped with Killin’ hot sauce.

Vegetarian patties are also available.
