March 8 was windy in Northeast Ohio, folks. In case you spent most of the day indoors and didn't notice, we've rounded up the sights and sounds of the day.

Power of 5 Meteorologist JD Rudd started the day off on Good Morning Cleveland with plenty of advance notice that the wind was coming. And, he provided this handy tool.

Our Meg Shaw was also up early. Stay strong!

We spotted this heart-stopper from the Toledo area at around noon.

We can't vouch that this is from the Cleveland area, but we always appreciate a good GIF.

Things got serious as power outages started to roll across Ohio around midday. That's when Power of 5 Meteorologist Janessa Webb showed us the light at the end of the (wind) tunnel.

The waters of Lake Erie were definitely feeling it.

After we tweeted a few photos from Eaglesmere....

...We got a report from Rochester.

And from this from a Cleveland Twitter follower.

Meanwhile, in Brook Park...

And in Ashtabula...

From outer space?

And from a shopping center parking lot near you.

In all seriousness, stay safe out there! And, PS: There's snow in the forecast.
