Whether it's clothing, food or lodging, the Red Cross is there in times of need for families on their worst days.
Families across Ohio Northeast rely on the American Red Cross when disaster strikes.
According to the Red Cross, they responded to 64,000 disasters every year. The vast majority are house fires. Tim O'Toole, the Regional Disaster Officer in Northeast Ohio, said they responded to at least three house fires every day.
That includes providing short-term support like clothing and food and long-term help like lodging and replacing lost items.
On April 26, thousands of people will unite to financial support the Red Cross to help local families get the services they need to start their recovery.
