CLEVELAND — There are mascots (yawn), and there are mascots (fun.) The new Cuyahoga Community College mascot is the second kind.
Tri-C has unveiled a new logo featuring a three-horned dinosaur triceratops.
Tri-C ... triceratops ... see what they did there?
According to Tri-C:
Students, staff and alumni chose Triceratops as the school’s new mascot during an online September poll that attracted nearly 4,000 votes. With “Tri-C” built into its name, the dinosaur seems ideally suited to represent the College.
The school used to compete as the Challengers, and you should not feel bad if you didn't know that, because no one did.
