Naked, outside on a porch, in a family neighborhood- according to an Elyria woman's neighbors, she refuses to get dressed.
NewsChannel 5 went to check it out. Sure enough, Annette Osborn answered the door nude.
"You're comfortable answering the door naked and you sit outside naked a lot?" "Yeah," answered.
Osborn didn't get dressed to talk to us.
"I'm standing in the door naked talking to you, do you think it bothers me...I feel that you should be allowed to express yourself any way you want," she said.
Arrested for indecent exposure days ago, Osborn said she will continue to do what she wants wearing what she wants- nothing.
She denied being naked outside when families were around.
"We're you sitting outside naked with kids walking by?" "No."
"We were told that there were kids and families and it was really offensive." "No."
Her neighbors, who didn't want to be identified, told NewsChannel 5 they have had it and they want it to stop.
"It's inappropriate! There's young kids out here. My daughter be out here."
"They're traumatized! My daughter still asks me, why was that lady outside naked like that? You're not supposed to show your private parts are you Mommy? No!"
Annette Osborn is scheduled to appear in court the end of next month.
Elyria Police Captain Chris Costantino told NewsChannel 5 they monitor the neighborhood closely, and head out there every time they are called.
