Akron dealership vandalized, $20K in car damage

Police are searching for a male suspect who was found jumping from car hood to car hood at Ganley Toyota and Mercedes Benz Thursday.

Around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to Ganley Toyota and Mercedes Benz, located on East Market Street, for a vandalism report. 

The manager told police a young man was seen on the hood of a car in the sales lot. The man then jumped from hood to hood, then fled. The manager reported more than $20,000 in damage to the cars. 

Police described the suspect to be a school age white boy, between the ages of 15-17, 5 feet 7 inches tall to 5 feet 8 inches tall, blonde or strawberry blonde hair, thin build, and wearing green camouflage jogging pants with elastic around the ankles, a black jacket tied to his waist, and a white shirt.
