AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in West Akron Wednesday night.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Winton Avenue around 7:15 p.m. for reports of a shooting, according to police.
Once on scene, officers found a 33-year-old man inside a parked car with multiple gunshot wounds. An unknown suspect had fired shots into the car, striking the man.
The 33-year-old man, who was identified by the medical examiner as Bradley M. Harvey, was pronounced dead on the scene. His cause of death was gunshot wounds to the head and neck.
