4-month-old baby ejected from car in Akron crash

A four-month-old baby was ejected from a car during a crash in Akron Wednesday morning.

According to Akron police, the crash happened just before 7 a.m. in the 2500 block of Romig Road. 

A Ford F350 truck was traveling north on Romig Road when the driver of a Hyundai Veloster pulled out of an apartment complex. The Veloster was struck by the truck. 

The baby, who was in a car seat, was ejected from the car.

He was taken to Akron Children's Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
