AKRON, Ohio — A man was shot and killed in Akron Wednesday evening, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner.
On Wednesday, officers responded to a home in the 300 block of Stanton Avenue around 8:30 p.m., where they found a 62-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound to the torso, authorities said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
Police did not name any suspects. The incident is currently under investigation.
