NORTH CANTON, Ohio — The North Canton Police Department is investigating a crash that involved a good Samaritan who was attempting to assist in a previous crash.
On Friday around 6:37 p.m., police received reports of a two-vehicle crash that had occurred in the 100 block of Everhard Road, according to police.
Before officers arrived, a 73-year-old male pedestrian who was attempting to assist at the scene of the crash was struck by another vehicle, police said.
The man was transported to Mercy Medical Center for further evaluation, according to police.
Icy road conditions were a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
