Police have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with an overnight murder in Akron.
Police said 24-year-old Marlon Gibson was found with a gunshot would to the torso in the 1000 block of Edmeyer Court around 11 p.m.
Gibson was transported to Summa Akron City Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers responding to the scene saw a 2010 Chevy Equinox leaving the area just after the shooting.
Police arrested the driver, 27-year-old Christopher Hunter, on charges of aggravated murder, felonious assault and receiving stolen property.
A gun that was previously reported stolen was found in the car, police said.
According to officials, Hunter and Gibson were arguing over a woman before the shooting. Both men have a child with the woman.
