Two Canton police officers suffered injuries after a violent struggle with an abduction suspect.

Body camera, released to News 5,  video shows how it went down.

Police say 31-year-old Roy Koury was holding his girlfriend against her will in the attic of a house on 10th Street Monday night.

Responding officers struggle with Koury and used a Taser on him several times, but it was ineffective.

At one point, one of the officers dropped the stun gun and Koury grabbed it.

The officers and Koury then went tumbling down the stairs.

Koury ran outside where he was stunned with a Taser again and captured.

One officer suffered a minor head injury. The other hurt his hand and leg.

"When you respond to a domestic violence situation as an officer, it's very dangerous," said Capt. Dave Davis. "There are so many unknowns that are possible during a situation like that. In this instance, it could have been very dangerous for the officers."

Koury is facing several charges including aggravated robbery, abduction, assault and obstruction official business.
