Grandson charged after 70-year-old woman is found stabbed to death in Akron home

A 24-year-old man is facing murder charges after his grandmother was found stabbed to death in her Akron home Friday night.

According to Akron police, officers responded to the home on Hudson Avenue around 10 p.m. Friday to find Lena Cline, 70, dead from multiple stab wounds to her chest.

Nathan Huff, 24, told police he went to his grandmother's house and found her dead on the living room floor. 

During the investigation into Cline's death, detectives decided to charge Huff.

He was booked into the Summit County Jail on a murder charge.
