AKRON, Ohio — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man in Akron Thursday evening.
The man, who has not been identified, was found by police at a home on Cotter Avenue around 5:30 p.m.
When officers arrived to the location, they found the front door of the apartment forced open, according to police.
Authorities said the man had been shot multiple times.
The man’s identity has not been released.
Police didn’t provide any additional information.
