AKRON, Ohio — Police are looking for a man who used a sledgehammer to rob a jewelry store in Akron Thursday morning.
According to Akron police, a man wearing black pants, a black hoodie and a motorcycle helmet walked into the store, located in the 1900 block of West Market Street, and smashed a jewelry case. After destroying the case, the man grabbed a bunch of merchandise and ran out of the store.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Akron police at 330-375-2552.
