A member of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force's 'Dangerous Dozen' has been arrested.
Michael Ayers, 39, was arrested in Akron Sunday by Akron police.
Ayers was wanted by police for allegedly shooting a 26-year-old man after an argument last September.
Police said Ayers was arguing with the victim on the sidewalk in front of a house on Roslyn Avenue when he pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the man.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized for more than a month.
Police say Ayers was pulled over for a traffic stop on Nome Avenue in Akron Sunday. He originally gave a false name but authorities eventually identified him and arrested him on outstanding warrants as well as driving under suspension.
