AKRON, Ohio — Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a 46-year-old man in Akron's Goodyear Heights neighborhood on Sunday, according to a release from the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office.
On Sunday at around 9:50 p.m., Eddie Lewis went to a residence in the 1400 block of Tonawanda Avenue, where he got into a fight with another man.
Lewis was shot during the fight, police said.
He was transported to Akron City Hospital-Summa Health, where he died from his injuries at 10:21 p.m. on Sunday.
