Police are investigating the homicide of a man who was found dead on a sidewalk Tuesday afternoon in Akron.
According to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office, the man was found on the 2300 block of 14th Street SW in Akron around 1:40 p.m., with a gunshot wound to the torso.
The victim, identified as 23-year-old Frank Vinson Jr. of Akron, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting is under investigation.
