NORTH CANTON, Ohio — A manhole cover blew off a Canton street and damaged a driver's vehicle, according to News 5's media partners at the Akron Beacon Journal.

David Hohman and his family were driving on South Main Street on August 6 when the manhole flipped onto their Volkswagen Tiguan.

Hohman was driving with his wife and 3-month-old son at the time. No one was injured.

The manhole is owned by AT&T.

According to Hohman, the company is refusing to fix the damage done to his SUV.

He said he was working with his insurance company and is considering legal action.
