One month after the murder of a teenager in Akron, the case remains unsolved. Now there's a reward on the table.

Ernest Anderson Jr., who was a culinary arts student at East High School, was shot to death on Jan. 11.

Summit County Crime Stoppers is now offering a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to his killer.

The victim's dad told News 5 that Ernest was walking from his home to the store when he was shot on West Thornton Street near Laurel Avenue.

Police said there was an argument between several people before shots rang out.

"I'm really still hurting and stuff, but I'm trying to stay strong, but that's a hard test," Ernest Anderson Sr. "I've been putting it in the Lord's hands and hope he can keep me strong enough to stay strong."

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers at 330-434-COPS.  Tipsters can remain anonymous.
