A teen boy was tied up with zip ties during an home invasion Tuesday morning in Akron, according to police.
Akron police said the incident occurred around 10 a.m. in the 1000 block of Burbank Avenue.
Officers said four suspects kicked in the side door of the home, tied up a 14-year-old boy with zip ties and then stole his tennis shoes.
The motive of the break-in appeared to be drug related, according to investigators.
The incident is under investigation.
