Body found off fishing pier at Edgewater beach, Cleveland Fire says

A body was located off the fishing pier near Edgewater Beach Sunday evening, according to the Cleveland Fire Department Lt. Mike Norman.

CLEVELAND — A body was located off the fishing pier near Edgewater Beach Sunday evening, according to the Cleveland Fire Department Lt. Mike Norman.

The lieutenant said he was told a person fell off the fishing pier east of Egdewater Beach.

Norman said crews are on the scene and can see the body, but the lake is too rough to try and recover it at this time.
