EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The Browns' three-game win streak was snapped by the Jets on Sunday.
The Browns lost to the Jets 17-12. Strong defensive performances from both teams, combined with steady rain, kept the game low-scoring.

The Browns were held to just two field goals in the first half, while the Jets scored their only touchdown early in the game.
Linebacker Quincy Williams got his revenge against his former team with a standout performance. Williams notched 11 tackles with three forced fumbles.
Denzel Boston made a spectacular 29-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter with the Browns trailing 10-6. However, kicker Andre Szmyt missed the extra point, leaving the Browns with a 12-10 lead.
Adin Huntington recovered a fumble after Carson Schwesinger knocked the ball loose from Jets quarterback Geno Smith as New York tried to respond to the Browns' touchdown.
However, the Browns were unable to capitalize on the turnover. A high snap slipped through Corey Bojorquez's hands, resulting in the Jets recovering the ball in Browns territory.
Jets running back Braelon Allen was able to take advantage and ran for a 22-yard touchdown, putting the Jets ahead 17-12 after the extra point. This was the first rushing touchdown allowed by the Browns this season.
As the game neared its end the Jets and Browns defensive units traded stops. The Browns offense got the ball back with less than two minutes left but were unable to complete another late fourth quarter comeback.
