Authorities have recovered more than $1 million and 100 pounds of marijuana after a multi-state drug trafficking ring with ties to Northeast Ohio was busted.

Police said 23-year-old Ahmad Jabir, 37-year-old Amer Jabir, and 28-year-old Aymen Abdelrahim were taken into custody Tuesday morning and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Additionally, Ahmad Jabir and Abdelrahhim were also charged with possession with intent to distribute controlled narcotics.

According to the Cleveland division of the FBI, the cash and marijuana were found at homes connected to the three men in Chicago and North Olmsted.

The drug ring allegedly ran large quantities of marijuana from California to Chicago and then to Detroit and Cleveland.

All three men are expected to appear in court today.
