1 dead after shooting at Kinsman Party Center

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a fatal shooting.

The shooting happened Saturday at 3:30 a.m. at the Kinsman Party Center.

When police arrived, they found a 28-year-old man, identified by the medical examiner's office as Tavarus Ellis, of Euclid, with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said that preliminary information reveals that Ellis drove his vehicle into another vehicle, and then fought with another man.

According to police, shots were fired and Ellis was struck in the head. A man was reportedly seen fleeing from the scene.

No arrests have been made.
