15-year-old shot, killed on city's east side

CLEVELAND — A 15-year-old was shot and killed Wednesday night on the city's east side.

The shooting happened around 8:15 p.m. in the 5300 block of Scovill Avenue.

When police arrived, they found two males with gunshot wounds.

A 15-year-old boy was transported to University Hospitals, where he later died.

A 43-year-old man was transported to University Hospitals in critical condition.

Police said a group of teenagers, including the 15-year-old, were talking in the area together when two vehicles drove by and individuals within them started shooting.

Two teens were able to run away.

No suspects have been identified.
