A 19-year-old woman was killed in a drive-by shooting in Cleveland overnight.
According to Cleveland police, the shooting happened in the 4200 block of East 116th Street around 4 a.m. Sunday.
Police say the woman got out of a car with three other people—all 19 and 20 years old—and walked to an abandoned home on the street.
A dark colored Chevrolet Impala then drove by and someone inside the car fired shots toward the home.
The woman—identified as Alisha Woodson of Garfield Heights—was shot in the shoulder. She was transported to Marymount Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported.
The Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is investigating.
