CLEVELAND — Two Cleveland police officers have been charged with misconduct.

According to the reprimand, Daniel Hourihan initiated a traffic stop and allegedly searched a man without consent in June 2017. In April 2019, Hourihan initiated a traffic stop, called the complainant a "bitch" and improperly strip-searched the driver of the vehicle.

He was found not guilty of the first specification and guilty of the second specification.

Hourihan was issued a written reprimand and has to be retrained in search and seizure.

The second officer, Hayley McNatt was suspended without pay for 15 days after not showing up for duty between May 31 and June 2, while the city was under a civil emergency after a police violence protest in the city turned violent.
