2 dead, 1 injured in shooting in Cleveland abandoned home

CLEVELAND — Two people were killed and another was injured during a shooting on Halloween in Cleveland’s Corlett neighborhood.

On Thursday at around 5 p.m., officers responded to the 13700 block of Durkee Avenue for a male shot.

Police located three victims with multiple gunshot wounds.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the 16-year-old as Jason Jaylin Mitchell.

A second victim, 20-year-old Stone Robinson, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

A third victim, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he remains with multiple gunshot wounds.

A preliminary investigation revealed that all three victims were shot inside what appeared to be an abandoned house.

The homicide unit of the Cleveland Police Department, along with the medical examiner, all responded to the scene.
