CLEVELAND — Three people, including a 14-year-old, were hurt in separate shootings across Cleveland between Wednesday night and Friday morning.
The first shooting happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday near East 115th Street and Superior Avenue. The victim, a 14-year-old boy, was shot in the knee, police said. He was taken to the hospital by a private car Thursday around noon.
The second shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. A 27-year-old man was shot near East 79th Street and Carnegie Avenue, police said. He was driven to the hospital in a personal car that was later towed.
The third shooting happened around 5 a.m. near East 74th Street and Central Avenue. Police said that the victim, a 52-year-old woman, was shot in the leg. Cleveland EMS transported the woman to a nearby hospital.
Police haven’t announced any suspects in any of the shootings. It’s not known if the shootings are connected.
