CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a quadruple shooting on the West Side.

The shooting happened in the 7100 block of Lawn Avenue.

A 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back, a 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg and a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg were transported to MetroHealth Hospital.

Both the 20-year-old woman and the 29-year-old man are in stable condition. The 36-year-old man is in serious condition, police said.

A 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the buttocks was taken privately to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Witnesses told police that a black Kia Optima with dark tinted windows drove down the street with the rear passenger window down and a gun sticking out of it.

Two of the victims told police they were standing outside talking to each other when the shooting happened. Two others were together on the porch of a house when they heard gunshots and attempted to run inside before being shot, police said.

Police have not identified a suspect, or suspects, at this time.

The shooting remains under investigation.
