Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman on Cleveland's east side that happened Wednesday afternoon.
According to authorities, the 36-year-old woman was shot multiple times in the 3200 block of East 121st Street.
When police arrived, the woman's 10-year-old stepson was also at the scene with no injuries.
She was taken to University Hospitals and pronounced dead around 4:20 p.m, police said.
The woman's name has not been released.
