CLEVELAND — Police detectives are investigating a homicide that happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday in Cleveland's Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood.
According to police, the shooting happened in the 2000 block of West 73rd Street. Police were called to the location after receiving reports of two people shot.
Responding officers found a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Cleveland EMS. A second shooting victim was not located.
Authorities said that officers working the scene learned that the shooter may reside in the same building. Police searched the building but were unable to locate any suspects.
The man's name has not been released.
