WATCH: Traffic camera shows head-on, wrong-way crash on I-90 that injured 4

CLEVELAND — Four people were injured after a head-on wrong-way driving crash on I-90 east Saturday night.

On Monday, the Ohio Department of Transportation released shocking traffic camera video showing the head-on crash.

The crash happened around 11:45 p.m. near East 152nd Street on I-90 east.

A spokesperson for the Cleveland Division of Police said a Chevy Impala, driven by a 31-year-old woman, was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-90 between East 185th and East 156th streets when it collided with a Nissan Murano and a Kia Sportage.

The wrong-way driver was severely injured.

The driver of the Nissan was seriously injured, police said.

The driver and passenger of the Kia also were injured.

Cleveland firefighters said they had to use the jaws of life to rescue two of the women trapped inside of the vehicles.

It is unknown if any arrests have been made.
