4 people injured in late night shooting in Cleveland's South Broadway neighborhood

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating after four people were injured in a late night shooting on Cleveland's East Side.

Police confirmed the shooting happened at about 10:35 p.m. in the 9500 block of Cardwell Avenue, located in Cleveland's South Broadway neighborhood.

An 18-year-old female, who was shot in the chest, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.

A 20-year-old male shot who was in the back and a 30-year-old man who was shot in the ankle were both taken by EMS to MetroHealth Medical Center.

A 17-year-old male, who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, was taken by private transportation to MetroHealth Medical Center.

The conditions of all four shooting victims are currently unknown at this time.

The shooting remains under investigation, according to Cleveland police.
