12-year-old boy turns himself into Cleveland police after dirt bike hit-and-run

The person involved in a dirt bike hit-and-run on Saturday at Kerruish Park has turned himself into Cleveland police.

Police reported that an 8-year-old was struck by the bike around 7 p.m. Witnesses said the child was attending a family cookout when the accident happened.

The child was privately transported to the hospital with a possible broken femur.

A 12-year-old boy turned himself into the 4th district with his grandparents on Sunday.
