In response to a public records request by 5 On Your Side Investigators, Cleveland police released the 911 call that investigators said led to the discovery of a woman believed to have been killed 20 years ago.

In the call, a man who identifies himself as a security guard where Michael Thompson lived tells the operator that Thompson asked him to call the police and that Thompson would be waiting for them.  The caller said Thompson wouldn't say why he needed officers.

Police said Thompson admitted to killing a woman he described as a prostitute 20 years ago.  Investigators said the 64-year-old led them to the area of Train Avenue and Richner Avenue where human remains were discovered.

Thompson is in jail awaiting trial on aggravated murder and kidnapping charges connected to the case. A judge set his bond at $1,000,000.
