A restaurant employee is wanted by police for allegedly shooting at a drive-thru customer on Wednesday at a McDonald's on Cleveland's east side.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. at McDonald's, 15510 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland. The restaurant is a few blocks east of Collinwood High School.

According to court documents, 52-year-old Mark Fort is charged with aggravated felonious assault, a second-degree felony.  Fort is a manager at the restaurant, police said.

Court records state the victim ordered a smoothie at the first window in the drive-thru, paid for it and then moved to the next window to get her drink.

While at the second window, a back-seat passenger opened a bottle of water and some water squirted out of the car towards the drive-thru window, documents say.

Fort allegedly yelled a curse word at the woman. Shots were fired. Police found a bullet hole in the back of the woman's car.

Fort's whereabouts are currently unknown, and authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest.
