The U.S Coast Guard pulled a body from the water near East 72nd Street and North Marginal Road on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities were called to the scene around 3 p.m. after the body was spotted in the water.
The Coast Guard and Cleveland firefighters responded to the scene.
The body pulled from the water was confirmed by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office as a 47-year-old man identified as Stacy Paythress.
No further information has been released.
