The Cleveland Foundation is offering a free day of ice skating this Saturday, November 26 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
In celebration of Winterfest in Public Square and the inaugural season of the Cleveland Foundation ice skating rink, skaters will enjoy free skate rentals and a free 45-minute session on the ice.
Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and up to 2,100 tickets will be distributed - 150 tickets per time slot. Skaters can bring their own ice skates to the event. The first time slot will start at 8 a.m. and the last will end at 11 p.m.
The Cleveland Foundation Skating Rink will remain open for the season until February 28, 2017, and regular skating will be available for $10 which includes skate rental. They will also have Holiday Friends and Family 10-packs available for sale at the rink.
The Group Plan Commission will apply proceeds from the rink to future programming in public square.
