Tuesday marks a milestone for the Innerbelt Bridge project as the final concrete deck is poured.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is still not giving an exact date for the opening of the Innerbelt Bridge, but says it will be sometime in the fall. Also, some of the work left depends on the weather.

Clevelanders may learn more about the timeframe after the final concrete pour Tuesday night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. ODOT said it's an important step because it's the surface thousands of people will be driving on every day.

This is the seventh and final concrete pour, ODOT said.

The department wants drivers to know even once the bridge is complete, only a few lanes will be open while dealing with detour changes. Drivers will regain access from Interstate 77 north to the Innerbelt and there will also be some changes for Interstate 490 and Interstate 77.
