CLEVELAND — A Cleveland man has died days after he was shot in the head.
On April 30, police were called to the 16000 block of Lakeshore Boulevard on reports of a fight.
When police arrived, they saw a dark SUV drive away.
While there are conflicting reports, it appears there was some sort of altercation before shots were fired.
Mattayo Heard, 23, was life-flighted to MetroHealth Hospital on April 30 after being taken into Euclid Hospital suffering a gunshot wound to the head.
He was pronounced dead on May 5.
Police are investigating the case as a homicide.
