A man who was reported missing after his relatives received text messages that he had died showed up at a Cleveland hospital Tuesday afternoon.

Cleveland police said they located 43-year-old Charles Bailey at Mary Mount Hospital.

Bailey had last been seen Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the area of Clark Avenue and Fulton Road.

According to a police report, Bailey's sister received a text that morning from Charles' phone stating that he was dead.

She called the phone and got no answer.

A longtime family friend and Charles' brother also said they received similar texts.

Police say Bailey is a known drug user.
