Detroit Avenue between West 52nd and West 54th streets was closed Friday after a Cleveland police officer on a motorcycle was hit by a vehicle.
The officer was transported from the scene. The condition of the officer was not immediately available.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area while police investigated.
