Cleveland police are still trying to figure out what happened in the hours that a six-year-old girl was missing over the weekend.

The girl was reported missing from her home in the 3000 block of West 104 Street around 9 a.m. Saturday but she was not reported missing until about 3 p.m.

Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams said the girl rang the door bell of a random home on Lyric Avenue near West 140th Street after someone appeared to have dropped her off around 9:30 p.m.

She was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in stable condition.

Cleveland police used K9 units, zone cars and a chopper to search for the girl. A Cleveland FBI spokesperson said the agency also assisted.

The case is under investigation.
