The man charged in a hit-skip that killed Cleveland police officer David Fahey back in 2017 has pleaded guilty to multiple charges.
Israel Alvarez, 46, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular homicide, vehicular manslaughter, driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, stopping after accident and drug possession.
Fahey, 39, was hit by a car and killed while laying flares along Interstate 90 in January 2017. He was hired on July 1, 2014, and assigned to the First District.
