Elderly man robbed, shoved by man on bicycle, authorities say

An elderly man waiting at a bus stop was robbed in Cleveland on Sunday by a man on a bicycle, according to Second District detectives.

The robbery happened at the West 80th Street and Detroit Avenue bus stop, authorities said. The robber reached into the victim's pocket, took his money, shoved him and fled the area.

The robber is described by authorities as a black male standing about 5-foot-8-inches tall with a medium complexion and a scar on his forehead. He was wearing jeans, a black shirt and black and white sneakers. He was riding a white bicycle with dark-colored handlebars.
