CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Fire Department is investigating a warehouse fire.

The flames broke out before 4:45 on West Parkway.

Officials said a neighbor who saw the flames called police.

Initially, the fire appeared to be on the right side of the structure towards the front, but it spread to other parts of the building.

Crews were not able to make entry into the building because of the flames. The gas line to the building also caught fire.

A spokesperson for Coats for Kids said their warehouse was impacted by the fire. They said they were near the end of their campaign and coats had been distributed.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Although most of the coats at the warehouse had already been distributed, donations for Coats for Kids can still be made at their website.
